WHAT IS QUALITY MEMBERSHIP STATUS (QM)?
QM means maintenance of 100% ASRI ensures QM status of a member:
100% Attendance in SLS meetings 100% Savings remittance
100% Repayment on loans 100%Insurance contribution
GGs or SLSs with QM membership are also called QM GGs or QM SLSs. GG leaders and Chairpersons are likewise encouraged to maintain the QM status of their respective GGs or SLSs.
Branch may have its scheduled loan release to QM GGs in the event were the status of the entire SLS is a non-QM one depending upon the assessment of the Branch Manager.
Non-QM status results in losing some privileges, both for individual borrowing-members, for GGs, and for the whole SLS.
